Who we are looking forWe are hiring a Vice President to lead end-to-end testing delivery and quality assurance for Agentic AI solutions across Global Delivery Simplification.This role serves as the operational owner of testing execution, responsible for ensuring agentic AI products are rigorously validated, risk-assessed, production-ready, and compliant with enterprise quality and control standards.The role requires strong leadership across Quality Engineering, AI validation, operational risk management, and production readiness, ensuring agent-based solutions can be deployed safely and sustainably within a highly regulated financial services environment.Why this role is important to usThe role is accountable for ensuring all solutions deployed into production have undergone comprehensive validation across functional, integration, operational, and AI-specific dimensions, with appropriate evidence, controls, and risk assessments supporting deployment decisions.The position serves as the primary quality leader across delivery PODs and is responsible for driving consistent testing standards, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the AI delivery lifecycle.What you will be responsible forTranslate enterprise testing strategy into scalable testing plans, frameworks, and quality practices.Lead end-to-end testing delivery across multiple Agentic AI initiatives and agile PODs.Define test coverage, quality gates, acceptance criteria, and release readiness requirements.Drive risk-based testing across functional, integration, operational, and AI-specific validation scenarios.Ensure Agentic AI solutions are validated for accuracy, reliability, explainability, and regulatory compliance.Lead testing of agent workflows, decision logic, exception handling, and human-in-the-loop controls.Establish testing standards, governance practices, and execution consistency across delivery teams.Manage testing priorities, delivery milestones, risks, and resource allocation.Own quality outcomes, including defect management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with enterprise SDLC, control frameworks, Responsible AI standards, and audit requirements.Lead production readiness reviews, and deployment validation activities.Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality outcomes to senior stakeholders and governance forums.What we value These skills will help you succeed in this roleStrong expertise in end-to-end testing lifecycle management, quality governance, and testing delivery leadership.Ability to translate testing strategy into scalable execution frameworks and quality practices.Deep understanding of risk-based testing methodologies, quality management, and production readiness processes.Strong knowledge of Agentic AI concepts, autonomous workflows, AI-specific risks, and testing approaches.Familiarity with AI observability, model performance monitoring, and validation practices.Working knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, SDLC governance standards, and regulatory expectations.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.Education & Preferred Qualifications8–10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Testing, Validation, Quality Engineering, or related disciplines.Proven experience leading testing delivery within complex enterprise technology environments, including agile and multi-team delivery models.Strong understanding of SDLC, testing governance, quality management, defect management, and production readiness practices.Experience supporting audit, risk, governance, and regulatory requirements within highly controlled environments.Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.Experience with AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, or emerging technologies preferred; exposure to Agentic AI and Generative AI is highly desirable.About State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
