Who we are looking forThe State Street Alpha team is seeking a highly qualified End to End solution architect to help drive solutions for our clients across all aspects of our Alpha Front to Back platform. Applicants should have a proven track record of understanding and aligning client requirements with enterprise solutions by collaborating with wider stakeholders, including global business architects and product leads, to identify business solutions that meet client and product outcomes. Applicants should be comfortable working in a high growth, complex, fast paced environment helping to drive the firm’s strategy and Alpha product capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Support all aspects of solution and architecture design through both the sales and implementation processCapture and document business requirements from clients, product management teams, implementation and operations teams, and third-party vendors to support strategic projectsDocument and/or diagram system and process flows to record critical components and represent them in a schematic diagramEnsure client requirements fall within our agreed offering, or alternatively, ensure these are flagged and presented at our change control forum and Alpha Design Council.Support implementation programs to identify and solution deliverables arising during the implementation of the target state model and operational workflowsEstablish a framework for identifying non standard requirements and driving solutions that align client needs with Alpha product development & capabilityEnsure client sign-off is obtained and tracked for all requirementsContribute to delivery across functional areas to deliver solutions, standardizing and driving product development where possibleWork across the end-to-end lifecycle bringing the relevant teams and stakeholders together on our project deliverablesSupport the build out a Solution Architecture team in APAC that can support multiple concurrent sales initiatives and implementation programsWhat we value Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, across front, middle and back office functionsThe ability to collaborate with teams and colleagues across different levels and disciplines within the organization Strong presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills across all levels of the business.A detail-oriented disposition and clear, concise communication skillsStrong critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and relationship management skills The Enterprise Culture traits and behaviors – Choose to own it, Break through Silos, Deliver results through integrity, Do Better Every Day, Care for colleagues, clients and community Education & Preferred QualificationsDeep knowledge of front office systems, middle office and data managementExtensive operational experience working with a broad range of security types including complex derivatives and alternativesKnowledge of the end-to-end investment management cycle Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Visio and PowerPointExperience in Agile software development, Systems Thinking, and/or professional services is an assetWillingness and ability for potential travelPrior experience with State Street and the Alpha platform is a plusAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
