From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible for:As an Officer you will:Perform technical review of private equity and hedge fund financial statements in accordance with relevant GAAP and regulatory requirements.Comprehend the scope of services offered to clients and reviews with the team; plan, schedule, and manage the production of interim / annual financial statements and daily workflow for multiple client relationships including allocation of clients and resources to service those clients; demonstrate technical expertise; ensure team meets all client deliverables and manages relationships of assigned clients.Ensure all controls/checklists and procedures are adhered to as well as make recommendations for improvementProactively manage risk at the business level; feel fully accountable for all steps of the production chain and make recommendations for process improvementsEnsure effective use of automation (FundSuite, Macros, etc.) and make recommendations for current system enhancementsCoordinate/Lead the research and resolution of any accounting issue, auditor or client commentsParticipate/Lead in the resolution of client issuesProvide coaching and development opportunities to staff and be responsible for completing and delivering performance reviews on timeMake effective recommendations to hire, discipline, control work, determine promotions, and terminate employmentAssist with coordination of activities between multiple departments within the organization, including our global offshoring partnersDraft and update task lists for offshoring partners, ensures all supporting documentation is available to them and acts as primary contact to answer their questions and issuesPerform other duties as required in order to meet client and department deliverables/goalsWhat we value: These skills will help you succeed in this role:Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and industry deadlines.
