Who we are looking forWe are seeking a Vice President Candidate for our Sales team actively addressing the Asset Owners market. This is a direct sales quota carrying position. This is also a new business sales role, requiring you to research opportunities, initiate discussions, build prospect relationships, manage sales process and close deals that generate new revenue. This role will be in either Boston or may be able to be based in another location, in some cases.What you will be responsible forMeet and exceed revenue goalsConduct business research on prospects / opportunitiesBecome familiar with State Street’s technology and related product offerings“Sell the Firm”: Candidate will be responsible for learning / selling State Street’s products / services across asset ownersPerform product demonstrations and presentationsRepresent State Street at relevant industry events and conferencesProvide regular and accurate reporting back to the Head of SalesCandidate will work closely with operations, legal, risk and relationship management to align opportunities with corporate requirementsNetwork across State Street to uncover other relationships / services that enhance prospecting opportunitiesCandidate will understand, monitor, and communicate competitor activity throughout the market, identifying key strengths and weaknessesCandidate will provide feedback to State Street’s Corporate Marketing team on product positioning, marketing materials, and industry trendsWhat we value These skills will help you succeed in this role:Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsProven leadership skills and sales successThe ability to penetrate and build relationships at the C-Level of a prospect organization.Education & Preferred QualificationsBA/BS degreeAt least 5 years of successful sales experienceDeep financial services background and experience Willingness to travel regularlyAbility to generate new business through prospectingAbility to gain access and interact with C-level executivesAre you the right candidate? Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Conduct business research on prospects / opportunities
  • Become familiar with State Street’s technology and related product offerings
