As pioneers in index, ETF, and ESG investing, we are always inventing new ways to invest.Join us if making your mark in the asset management industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.Key AccountabilitiesPerform daily processes around ITM fund accounting including subscription/redemption processes with distributors, submissions of instructions to trustees and an outsourcing agent, NAV issuances to distributions, and fund financial closing processing.Oversee processes that have been outsourced to the outsourcing agentPrepare / Review ITM monthly reports submitted to the Investment Trusts Association, Japan (IMAJ) and the Bank of Japan (BOJ)Respond to any ITM relevant inquires raised by the trustees or outsourcing agencyCommunicate with an external auditor with regard to fund financial statementsSupport a new ITM fund launch as a specialist of ITM Fund AccountingContribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of daily ITM operations.Develop leadership skills within the ITM Fund Accounting group as part of longer-term career development.Experience, Qualifications, Skills and AbilitiesBachelor’s degree or aboveExperience in operations within an asset management companyMinimum 5 years of experience in ITM Fund AccountingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsFamiliarity with the asset management industry, including relevant regulations and industry association rulesAdvanced knowledge of T-Star/TXNativeJapanese and English language skills, both written and verbalAbility to leverage AI enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or similar enterprise AI solutions) and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce operational risk, analysis and decision makingAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
