Who we are looking forThe Job Holder is a senior member of the Korea FX leadership team, responsible for driving the strategic growth of State Street's Korea FX franchise through the management of key institutional client relationships, business development initiatives, and sales execution.Reporting to Head of Korea FX Sales, the individual will lead coverage of some of the firm's most significant clients in Korea, demonstrate consistent business performance, and contribute to the leadership and development of the Korea FX Sales team through direct management responsibilities for designated team members. The role also supports broader Korea FX business initiatives, governance activities, and cross-functional strategic projects.Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs Deputy Head of FX Sales Korea, you willLead coverage of some of State Street Korea's most significant institutional clients including pension fund and onshore Asset Managers and maintain senior-level client relationships.Demonstrate a consistent track record of business production and revenue generation across large FX client portfolios.Deliver high-impact client presentations and market insights, leveraging advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.Support the strategic development and execution of Korea FX Sales business initiatives in partnership with regional and global leadership.Directly manage designated members of the Korea FX Sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, performance management, and career development support.Work collaboratively with Trading, Risk, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other support functions to drive client and business outcomes.Lead and support Korean institutional client onboarding initiatives, ensuring all required documentation, approvals, and credit arrangements are in place.Take on administrative and management responsibilities associated with the operation of the Korea FX business.Represent the Korea FX franchise in internal committees, governance forums, and strategic business initiatives.Respond to internal and external inquiries relating to client relationships, market developments, and Korea FX business activities.Support talent development, succession planning, and broader franchise leadership initiatives within Korea.What we value These skills will help you succeed in this roleSuccessful experience for set-up new clients on-boarding process would be plus.Minimum of 10 years of sales background and related work experience preferredProficiency with Word, Excel and power point RequiredBilingual (Korean/English)Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or equivalentMBA, MS Finance, or CFA preferredAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
