You will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of derivative products and develop expertise in a dynamic and growing area of the financial industry.Whether your background is in finance, economics, mathematics, business, or another discipline, we provide comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you succeed.What You Will Be Responsible ForAs an Associate 1, you will support the day-to-day servicing of derivative transactions and work closely with clients, custodians, brokers, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of operational activities.Daily Operations:Perform daily processing activities across a range of derivative products including swaps, options, futures and CFDs.Support trade lifecycle management, including trade booking, trade validation and processing instrument valuations.Assist with trade affirmation and confirmation activities, ensuring trades are accurately matched between clients and counterparties.Monitor and process derivative-related cash movements, including fees, premiums, margins, interest payments and lifecycle-related settlements.Support valuation and reconciliation activities and investigate discrepancies where identified.Produce and distribute standard operational reports to internal stakeholders and clients.Client & Stakeholder Management:Communicate with clients, counterparties, brokers, custodians, clearing banks and pricing vendors regarding operational queries and transaction processing.Respond to routine client inquiries and support issue resolution in a timely and professional manner.Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery.Problem Solving & Risk Management:Investigate transaction breaks, processing exceptions and settlement discrepancies.Escalate issues requiring additional review or intervention to senior team members.Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with established procedures, controls, and risk management standards.Report operational risks, compliance concerns, control breaches or suspicious activities in line with company policies.Continuous Improvement:Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and enhance the client experience.Participate in team initiatives, training programs and knowledge-sharing activities.Continuously develop knowledge of financial markets, derivative products and industry best practices.What We Value:Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCuriosity and willingness to learnProblem-solving mindsetTeamwork and collaborationClient-focused approachEducation & Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in any disciplineFinance, Economics, Mathematics or Business-related studies are advantageous but not requiredGood analytical and numerical skillsFluent English (written and spoken)Working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience in financial services, banking, operations or customer service would be an advantageWhy Join State Street?Hybrid working model with minimum 3 days in the office per weekAdditional holidays, including Birthday Day Off and service anniversary leaveMultisport CardComprehensive medical coverage for employees and their familiesLanguage coursesEducational Support ProgramMentoring and career development opportunitiesAccess to technical and soft skills trainingDiverse and inclusive international environmentEmployee savings planPremium life insurance packageWell-being programs and employee networksOpportunities to participate in volunteer and community initiativesNote: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working form the officeMinimum Salary:​zł60,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
