Who we are looking for We’re significantly expanding our wealth service offering across custody and clearing, and developing new consumer-grade applications for institutional clients, designed to help everyday people confidently plan for their futures.This role is for a hands-on product design leader who thrives at the intersection of consumer-focused wealth planning, AI-enabled experiences, and scalable design systems.You’ll lead design for a zero-to-one product portfolio while remaining deeply embedded in the work: shaping interaction models, designing critical flows, and partnering closely with Business, Engineering, and your Design Team colleagues. You’ll be designing alongside your team and setting a high bar through craft and execution.What you will be responsible for Lead design for multiple new retirement planning applications, from early concept through launch and iterationProduce user journeys tracking general tasks as well as support experiences • Shape AI-enabled querying experiences, including natural language input, guided prompts, product support, and serving contextual educational contentDefine interaction patterns for dynamic dashboards that adapt to user roles, preferences, and behaviorsEnvision experiences for both adults and childrenPartner closely with business to frame problems, define MVPs, and balance user value with business goalsCollaborate with internal Engineering and external partners to ensure designs are technically feasible and data-accurateMentor and guide designers, providing clear direction, critique, and support while staying actively involved in execution • Advocate for user-centered design within a regulated, risk-aware banking environmentWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleDeep understanding of interaction design for both enterprise tools and consumer-facing productsExperience designing for enterprise, fintech, or regulated environmentsComfort translating ambiguous problem spaces into clear product directionAbility to move fluidly between strategy and pixels—setting vision and designing key workflowsStrong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional partnersFamiliarity with modern design tools and prototyping methods (e.g., Figma, prototyping libraries, experimentation)Education & Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of experience in product design, with experience leading complex, data-rich productsDegree in Design (Interaction, Graphic, Product), HCI, or related field a plusExperience working within a large, regulated enterprise Additional optional requirementsExperience designing wealth management applicationsExperience collaborating with AI/ML teams on production systemsKnowledge of accessibility standards for interfaces and data visualizationPlease provide a link to your design portfolio (or attach a PDF) with any necessary passwordsWork Requirement4 days a weeek9am to 5pmSalary Range: $120,000 - $217,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
