Job Description:We are seeking a New Index Requests (NIR) Analyst, Officer who is responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end New Index Request process, partnering with business teams and external vendors to validate index licensing and permissions. This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and index vendors, ensuring accurate request submission, timely vendor engagement, and clear communication of approval outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Review and validate New Index Requests submitted by business users to ensure completeness and accuracy of required data fields. Perform detailed quality checks across request components. Identify missing or inconsistent information and collaborate with business users to obtain clarifications.Generate and distribute vendor outreach communications to confirm index licensing permissions. Manage NIR requests from submission through final resolution, ensuring timely status updates and clear documentation. Maintain detailed audit trails through system comments, including approval outcomes and rejection rationale and ensure proper status transitions.Produce and maintain weekly reporting of NIR requests, tracking completed requests, requests pending with vendors or business users. Analyze request status and drive follow-ups to reduce turnaround time and improve process efficiency.For select requests, support onboarding of approved indices into internal platforms (e.g., benchmarking tools) by updating required fields. Troubleshoot data access issues and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.Partner with business users to ensure accurate request submission and prompt response to vendor inquiries.
