We are expanding our presence in the EMEA region and are actively hiring.SummaryWe are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Senior Associate) with 0–3 years of experience who can work across both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on automation experience along with strong skills in understanding user stories, creating test cases, and executing end-to-end testing in an agile environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applicationsWork closely with product owners and developers to understand user stories and define test scenariosCreate, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test dataExecute both automated and manual test cases and analyze resultsIdentify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRAPerform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across releasesParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectivesEnsure adequate test coverage across automation and manual areasContribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes Required Skills & Qualifications 0–3 years of experience in QA with a mix of automation and manual testingStrong understanding of software testing fundamentals (STLC, SDLC, test design techniques)Hands-on experience in automation frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber, Gauge, etc.Experience with automation tools/frameworks: Selenium / Playwright / CypressProficiency in at least one programming language: Java / Python / JavaScriptExperience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar toolsStrong experience in test case design and requirement analysis (user stories)Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsFamiliarity with version control systems like GitGood analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbout State StreetWhat we do.
