Position SummaryThe Offshore Fund Focus Client Services Associate 2 is responsible for delivering high-quality client service support to offshore fund clients, serving as a key point of contact for operational inquiries and service-related matters. The role works closely with internal operational teams, global client service teams, and product specialists to ensure timely resolution of client requests and to support business growth initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesClient ManagementServe as a primary contact for designated offshore fund clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.Coordinate and facilitate client meetings, service reviews, and follow-up actions.Support new business opportunities and client onboarding activities.Client Inquiry ManagementManage day-to-day client inquiries from clients related to responsible offshore fundsCoordinate with Global Delivery and product teams to investigate and resolve issues.Monitor open inquiries and provide timely status updates to clients.Escalate critical issues appropriately and drive resolution.Service Delivery and OversightEnsure delivery of consistent, high-quality client service.Monitor service levels and identify opportunities for service enhancement.Support implementation of new products, services, and operational changes.Participate in client transition and conversion projects as required.Operational and Project SupportPartner with internal teams across Operations, Global Delivery, Product, and Relationship Management.Assist with special projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.Support development of scalable client service models and operating procedures.Contribute to risk management and control activities.Reporting and CommunicationPrepare client reporting and service review materials.Track and communicate key client issues, risks, and action items.Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and service commitments.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.2–5 years of experience in financial services, custody, fund administration, asset servicing, or client service.Understanding of offshore funds, global custody, investment operations, or related products.Strong communication and relationship management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting offshore fund clients.Knowledge of custody, settlements, cash management, FX, corporate actions, and fund operations.Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.Japanese and English language proficiency.CompetenciesClient FocusOwnership and AccountabilityEffective CommunicationCollaboration and TeamworkProblem SolvingContinuous ImprovementRisk and Control AwarenessAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
