Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions organisation at Technology Platform Engineering & Operations division to enhance our patching and vulnerability remediation capabilities through automation and orchestration. This is not a typical security governance or vulnerability management analyst role responsible for scanning and/or triaging security findings. The role holder will be a hands-on subject matter expert with extensive experience in UNIX/Linux and infrastructure automation areas, ideally an ex-sysadmin, and will work on enabling our internal customers with vulnerability remediation solutions. This role is focused on using Ansible Automation Platform (not the platform administration itself) and collaborating with Platform Engineering teams to deliver automation outcomes for 30000+ servers across hybrid landing zones and helping us transform the bank to be ready to face and respond to the new frontier AI threats at an unprecedented pace.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong hands-on Ansible development experience with Ansible Core 2.14 or higherAdvanced scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar)Proven experience using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including: Job Templates, Workflow Templates, Projects, Credentials, Related AAP operational conceptsStrong Linux administration and automation experience across RHEL 7/8/9Practical expertise with Red Hat Satellite, yum/dnf and RPM-based patching automation.Demonstrated experience automating application lifecycle tasks during maintenance windows: Stop/start orchestration, Validation/verification logic, Health checksGood understanding and proficiency working with SDLC tooling such as GIT, CI/CD pipelines, JiraStrong experience on working with APIsExperience with ServiceNow change processes and ITIL-aligned deliveryStrong written and verbal communication skills in regulated, high-availability environmentsComfortable and effective with stakeholder engagement, especially with application owners and operational teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with ServiceNow API and ServiceNow Vulnerability ResponsePrevious experience working in a regulated industryDemonstrated fluency in using LLMs to speed up and enhance engineering workflowsExposure to operational monitoring and reporting integrationNote: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the officeMinimum Salary:​zł182,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
