Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions organisation at Technology Platform Engineering & Operations division to bolster our Self-Service, Scanning and Platform Integrations function. The role holder will take technical ownership of all data engineering aspects across our on-prem and cloud products to enable our internal customers to make data-driven decisions and provide them with high-quality data they need to do so. This is a very exciting opportunity to work with multiple internally developed distributed systems, portals and data warehouses serving thousands of IT users and hundreds of thousands of IT assets in one of the world’s largest banks, be co-responsible for shaping their future and take them to the next level - also with the use of AI-assisted development techniques such as spec-driven development. Product mindset and strong focus on building solutions to solve the next big problem at the crossroad of Cybersecurity & IT is essential to succeed in this role and to deliver on the promise of a more cyber resilient, user-friendly bank.Required Skills and Experience5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform engineeringHands-on experience with on-prem and cloud (Azure and AWS) data environmentsExperience building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, architectures, data models and data sets (both structured and unstructured)Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or similarAdvanced scripting skills (Powershell or Python)Experience building production-grade ETL or ELT pipelinesExperience with platforms like PowerBI, Databricks, SnowflakeUnderstanding of enterprise infrastructure incl. servers, storage, networking, access control, and deployment environmentsStrong experience in working with APIsVery good communication skills and ability to translate non-technical requirements into robust solutionsGood understanding and proficiency working with SDLC tooling such as GIT, CI/CD pipelines, JiraPreferred QualificationsExperience with public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and migrating or re-architecting workloads from on-prem to cloud-nativeExperience working with ServiceNow APIPrevious experience working in a regulated industryDemonstrated fluency in using LLMs to speed up and enhance engineering workflowsNote: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the officeMinimum Salary:​zł182,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
