Who we are looking forWe are looking for a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer who desire to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment on functions built for business requirements in response to doing risk management functions, compliance needs or regulatory reporting.This role requires solid knowledge in software testing process, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and good time management. Person should have experience of software testing in manual and automated manner.This role is based in Poland and will work with State Street business users from all regionsWhat you will be responsible forAs a SQA engineer, you willDesign, prepare, and implement test strategy and test scenariosReview test cases and test resultsConduct testing and defects status meetings, and communicate cause and solution of system and/or software defectsConduct functional demonstrations for business usersWork closely with Business and Development teams to resolve quality problems and provide informationParticipate in daily stand ups, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospective meetingsWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleStrong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skillsPresentation skillsTeam playerGood grasp on standard SDLC toolsEducation & Preferred Qualifications1-3 years’ experience of SQA role, driving software development projects/agile rooms, from quality assurance stand point.Use of relational databases like ORACLE, Postgres and Big Data Platform like Databricks, Hadoop etc.Develop automated scripts via ETL automation tool, Python - Selenium and Pandas which will automate the data quality process and ensure the entire data set is validatedDevelop complex SQL queries using to validate all the data scenariosWell versed with writing and analyzing UNIX shell scripts and commandsFamiliarity with UNIX commands to execute jobs etc.Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.Additional requirementsParticipation in agile development working model.Experience of working on Confluence like collaboration tool for requirements and defects managementNote: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the officeMinimum Salary:​zł87,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.   • Well versed with writing and analyzing UNIX shell scripts and commands (experience)
  • Familiarity with UNIX commands to execute jobs etc. (experience)
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies. (experience)
