Role SummaryThe Telemetry Analyst will own the day-to-day observability view of our end-to-end QA environments in Microsoft Azure Cloud.This person will utilize Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Kibana, and Grafana to monitor application health, validate software deployments, identify early-warning signals, and translate telemetry into actionable recommendations that improve system stability before issues reach production.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with these tools and would have an active role in the operational support model. This candidate will directly investigate incidents and root cause indicators, or in close partnership with software deployment engineering using real-time telemetry to confirm releases are clean, stable, and performing as expected. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor End-to-End QA environment health across the platform including application, database, infrastructure, network, and cloud service layers.Use Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Kibana, and Grafana to correlate telemetry from multiple platforms, environments, and software versionsBuild, Refine and maintain telemetry dashboards, alerts, queries and operational views that surface meaningful trends, anomalies, capacity concerns, and deployment-related changesPartner with deployment engineering teams to validate and verify clean software releases using pre- and post-deployment telemetryAnalyze logs, metrics, traces, events, and infrastructure signals to detect performance degradation, instability, error spikes, resource saturation and recurring failure patternsSupport End-to-End operations teams by reviewing alerts, investigating incidents, documenting likely root cause and identifying escalation pathsProduce concise operational summaries that explain environment health, open risks, recurring issues, and recommended remediation actionsImprove monitoring quality by reducing noise, tuning alerts, defining useful thresholds, and identifying telemetry gapsRecommend and update operational runbook standards based on event causes and confirmed telemetryResearch AI integration, escalation and reporting into telemetry metrics and aggregationTechnical Environment / QualificationsProven Dynatrace knowledge, ideally operating in a production level environmentAbility to create, update, and customize Dynatrace dashboards and reportsExposure to Kibana and Grafana monitoring and observability tools in Cloud environmentsWorking knowledge of SolarWinds for database telemetryAbout Charles River DevelopmentCharles River Investment management System in a platform that provides many Front-Office functions including Portfolio Management, Order Management and Execution, Compliance, Performance & Attribution, Modelling, Scenario Analysis, and Wealth Management.We are part of the State Street Bank.
