The pay range is $168,000.00 - $356,000.00Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About You:PhD or MS in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or relevant industry experience10 plus years of experience leading and developing teams of applied data scientists and operations research scientists in optimization, simulation and advanced analytics5 plus years of experience in mathematical optimization, simulation, forecasting, machine learning, statistical modeling and network modeling/planningExtensive experience in supply chain, logistics, retail, transportation, manufacturing or other large-scale network environments strongly preferredHighly proficient in Python, Scala, Java, SQL or R programmingSignificant demonstrated expertise in optimization theory (deterministic/stochastic), dynamic programming, linear algebra, probability and statisticsExperience in statistical inference and deploying machine learning models at scaleExperience translating complex analytical work into strategic recommendations and influencing senior leaders within and across global teamsStrong problem-framing and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively across technical and executive audiencesThis position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs.
