Job Description

What to ExpectWe are seeking a highly motivated logistics and procurement professional to support APAC indirect procurement. In this role, you will develop category strategies, run RFPs/RFQs, manage vendors, and procure services and goods aligned with operational and business needs.You will oversee non-production (indirect) spend across business verticals in the Asia Pacific region (including Hong Kong). You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to execute strategies, drive continuous improvement, and optimize source-to- pay processes in collaboration with the global team.This position requires strong source-to-pay knowledge, proven experience integrating business processes and policies via procurement platforms, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will build solid relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, develop commodity strategies, perform detailed spend analysis, monitor micro- and macro-economic trends, optimize the supply base, and proactively identify efficiency improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage indirect purchasing with a primary focus on Professional Services and tangible goods (including Consumables, Equipment, Chemicals, and related categories).Lead end-to-end purchasing activities: develop category strategies, create bid specifications, execute procurement plans, and negotiate contracts.Own the full sourcing process — act as lead for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs; ensure all commercial terms are agreed and properly documented.Ensure NDAs, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Master Purchase Agreements are in place before business commences.Drive continuous cost reduction and cost-avoidance initiatives through strategic negotiations.Analyze spend data, evaluate existing suppliers, consolidate spend for leverage, identify purchasing trends, and develop alternative sourcing options. Identify and introduce high-potential new suppliers (regional and global).Assess supplier capabilities and competitive positioning. Serve as the primary commercial point of contact; develop and track KPIs for strategic suppliers to improve service levels.Ensure full compliance with procurement policies and processes.Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on procurement principles, policies, and best practices.Support project-related activities, including Special Logistic Equipment Services where required. What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience / demonstrated exceptional ability.Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, or category management role.Strong knowledge of purchasing processes (SOPs, RFI/RFP/RFQ, POs, contracts, etc.).Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering projects; experience in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.Procurement experience at an international company is a strong plus.Excellent negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.Outstanding English communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage effectively at all levels and bridge technical/non-technical audiences.Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across global and regional teams.Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Required Qualifications
