Position DescriptionAt Tesla, our Parts Advisors play an important role in service operations, offering fundamental support to both Technicians and customers in our mission to building a World of Amazing Abundance.As a Parts Advisor, you will provide critical parts support to the service center; liaise with other departments, as well as focusing on the continuous development of your skills. ResponsibilitiesReceive stock, pick, ship and transact materials inventory to support the needs of vehicle serviceReview service parts after receiving the shipment and sort the damaged partsAccurately record parts transactions and data into Tesla System – attention to detail criticalConduct Transactions in system; walk customer through order and provide summaryEscalate any issues that need to be addressed to correct any inbound packaging issues from our internal and external suppliersMaintain records of time, expenses, and materials and communicate estimated parts ship and arrival time, including regular updatesFollow up with customer on parts order and ensure complete satisfaction with the order. Perform other related duties as assigned and help maintain cleanliness of service centerEffectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlinesPick up and deliver parts using 4.5t forklift Requirements3+ years of work experience in automotive industry as a Parts AdvisorTechnical High School Diploma or Associate Degree is preferredMust possess valid driver’s license and preferably Craftsman Forklift OperatorAbility to use MS Office with basic computer skillsAbility to read and write basic words in EnglishUnderstand in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobilesKnowledge of Automotive equipment, parts and servicing methodsUnderstanding of Service Center Operational Process and Best PracticeAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the publicMaintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as a parts advisorHigh flexibility in working hours and work location based on business needs
