You will work with the marketing team, UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between visual design and technical implementation.What will a normal day look like?Develop modern web solutions that provide great user experiences across multiple browsers and devicesDevelop UI components in ReactJS frameworkBuild reusable code, components and libraries for future useSetting and / or maintaining standards using linting & code quality tools to ensure consistencyKeeping a close eye on client-side performance & security concerns and be constantly looking for ways to make improvementsEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimise applications for maximum speed and scalabilityWork with developers, product managers, QA engineers, system administrators, vendors and others to ensure features are delivered to a high standardUnderstand when to automate processes to improve the delivery process of the teamEnsuring that solutions adhere to best practices and leverage standard functionality where possible.Ensuring any developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable.You will have experience with:ReactJS framework, TypeScript, web servers, relational and non-relational databases, testing strategiesHTML, CSS / SASS & JavaScript (ES6 & jQuery)Build tools & module bundlers like Gulp & WebpackComfortable with BEM syntaxLinting tools such as ESLint & StyleLintBuilding and deploying application code and configured CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bamboo CI.Building and maintaining component libraries (eg Patternlab, StoryBook, Salesforce LDS etc)Responsive design practises using Bootstrap and CSS GridWeb performance monitoring & optimisation techniquesExperience of an Agile software development lifecycleIt would be great if you had experience with:AI Development tooling such as Copilot, cursorAutomated UI TestingUnderstanding of DevOps delivery modelDockerNodeJSSalesforce or knowledge of Salesforce LDSAutomated Testing with BrowserstackWhy should you join Cigna?You will get the chance to work with a global, truly innovative and flexible Technology division that is growing rapidly due to continued success and massive transformation.We are constantly investing in, improving and innovating our global technology stack.
