Using data-driven insights, we’ll customize a solution that addresses your organization’s most pressing needs—creating a more affordable, predictable, and simple health care experience.Evernorth Workplace Care - Personalized Care Where You AreNurse Practitioner - Part time - Evernorth - Kissimmee, FLPosition Summary: Provide Primary Care treatment in a Workplace-based settingEpisodic care (low acuity Urgent Care)Extended Episodic Acute Care which can include 4-5 visits for an illness or injury that is limited in its chronicityChronic condition education and co-management with outside primary care if EWC is not the PCPAbility to oversee and perform CLIA waived tests, dispense Rx medications, and oversee a specimen collection labCollaboration with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health and wellness educationPotential for Travel Medicine recommendation and immunizations or administration of allergen immunotherapy (with proper training)Direct one on one health coaching to employees along with referring patients into wellness programsPartner with local HR/Benefits team to improve employee healthPartner closely with, and potentially oversee, members of the health care team (MA, LPN, etc.)Clinical Requirements:Graduate of Certified NP programActive and unrestricted NP license required in respective state, and ability to maintainMinimum of 2 or more years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine or family practice setting Ability to practice independently in respective stateMay be asked to obtain licensure in additional statesDEA licensure and prescriptive authority and ability to maintainStrong primary care experience including women’s healthChronic Disease Management experience is preferredElectronic Health Record experience; EPIC experience is a plusBLS certification and ability to maintain current certificationPhlebotomy experience is a plusNon-Clinical Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills including internal and external customers and group settingsPassionate about overall health and wellness and patient educationHigh energy and strong customer-centric focusAbility to work clinic hoursSolid attendance recordStrong time management skillsAdditional language skills such as Spanish is a plusSupervisory experience (indirect or direct) is preferredAutonomous APRN license is preferredThis is a part time - 25.5 hour/week position, with potential for additional hours for coverage as needed.Shift Schedule:Wednesday 7am-12pmThursday 7am-5:30pmFriday 7am-5:30pm.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
