If you enjoy partnering with others, influencing decisions, and making a measurable impact, this is an opportunity to grow your expertise and help clients succeed.ResponsibilitiesAdvise Medicaid and Marketplace clients on strategies that align policy, operations, affordability, and growth prioritiesTranslate federal and state policy changes into clear insights and actionable recommendations that support business decisionsLead or contribute to market assessments, competitive insights, and trend analysis that inform client strategy, renewals, and expansion opportunitiesPartner across account management, sales, product, clinical, operations, and government affairs to align strategies and drive executionSupport client retention and growth by shaping renewal strategies, expansion plans, and RFP or finalist positioningRepresent client needs and perspectives in internal planning to influence product development, solution design, and regulated market initiativesDevelop clear, executive-ready presentations and strategic materials that help clients make confident decisionsBalance multiple priorities while delivering thoughtful, high-quality work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentQualificationsRequired7+ years of experience in regulated markets, pharmacy benefit management, health plan strategy, consulting, or a related client-facing roleStrong knowledge of Medicaid, Marketplace, and government programs, including policy, quality, and operational considerationsAbility to interpret complex information and turn it into practical, actionable guidanceStrong communication skills, with experience creating clear and compelling presentations for senior leadersProven ability to build relationships and influence across a matrixed environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on driving outcomesAbility to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a dynamic environmentPreferredBachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public policy, pharmacy, or a related fieldAdvanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, PharmD)Experience working directly with health plan clients on strategy, growth, or performance improvementFamiliarity with pharmacy benefit strategy within regulated marketsIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 126,300 - 210,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.At The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
