Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionAbout the Role:透過型電子顕微鏡（TEM）および／または小型デュアルビーム（SDB）製品のアプリケーションエキスパートとして、顧客の課題解決から製品価値の最大化まで幅広くリードしていただきます。半導体、材料など幅広い分野の顧客と関わりながら、技術ディスカッション、デモンストレーション、社内連携（セールス・サービス・R&D・マーケティング）を通じて、ビジネスの成長に直接インパクトを与えるポジションです。What You’ll Do:顧客との信頼関係を構築し、装置およびアプリケーションに関する技術的なキーパーソンとして活躍複雑な技術内容を分かりやすく伝え、説得力のある技術プレゼンテーションを実施TEM/SDB製品のデモンストレーションやサンプル評価をリードし、セールス・サービスチームと連携してプロジェクトを推進顧客のニーズや課題を理解し、最適なアプリケーションソリューションへと落とし込むトレーニングや技術サポートを通じて、顧客の成功体験を創出装置パフォーマンスの評価・ベンチマークを行い、製品改善に向けたフィードバックを開発チームへ提供アプリケーション事例や競合情報、市場トレンドを収集し、社内外へ発信マーケティングと連携し、技術コンテンツやプロモーション活動に貢献学会・セミナー・ワークショップ等を通じて、新しいアプリケーションの普及を推進新製品のアプリケーション評価や検証をリードし、R&Dとの橋渡し役として活躍チームメンバーの育成・ナレッジ共有を通じて、チーム全体のレベル向上に貢献What We’re Looking For:TEMまたはFIB/SEM（SDB）に関する実務経験と専門知識分析機器におけるトラブルシューティングや最適化の経験研究機関または企業でのTEM/SDBの実務経験（目安：1年以上）高いコミュニケーション力（技術内容を相手に合わせて伝えられる方）顧客志向で、課題解決に主体的に取り組める方多様なチーム（グローバル含む）と協働できる方英語でのコミュニケーションが可能な方（ビジネスレベル）国内外出張（目安：25–50%）に柔軟に対応できる方Education:材料科学、化学、物理学、または関連分野の修士号以上PhDをお持ちの方、または特定の顕微鏡アプリケーション分野での専門性が高い方は歓迎Why This Role?半導体・材料・ライフサイエンスなど多様な最先端分野の顧客と関われる技術×ビジネスの両面で影響力を発揮できるダイナミックなポジショングローバルチームと連携しながら、自身の専門性を広げられる環境Job Description:The Staff Applications Scientist in the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) and Small Dual Beam (SDB) applications team is responsible for providing technical expertise in the support of above productsResponsibilities:Cultivate positive customer relationships and act as a high-level customer interface for specific instrument/applications issues, explain complex technology details, give in depth technical presentationsLead TEM/SDB product demonstration or customer’s sample evaluation, by leading the communication with sales and supporting team to prepare for the demonstration, and deliver professional report after the demonstration, to give strong positive impact on business successConduct customer support and applications training and translate customer needs into workable solutionsMaintain demo tool with benchmarked performance, and provide continuous feedback to the product groups on system performance, features, and potential problemsDocument application examples and competitive landscapes, collect voice of customer, explore product adoption on local market, and coordinate marketing collateral generation with marketing team, participate in conferences and workshops to promote new application solutionsCollaborate with marketing/development groups on future product developments. Lead new product application testing and communication with R&DExperience / Other Requirements:Profound knowledge of advanced technology diagnostics as well as fault finding techniques, operational optimization, and experience of analytical equipment; specifically, electron/ion microscopes are required1 or more years’ experience in a relevant commercial/research establishment with intensive hands-on experience on TEM/SDBExcellent, enthusiastic, clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse audience are critical to the success of this position.Excellent customer interfacing skills a mustProven ability to interact with cross - functional and cross - cultural teamsFluent English is a mustFrequent traveling and ability to travel both domestically internationally, possession of a valid passport.Educational QualificationTypically requires MS degree, higher is preferred, in Materials Science, Chemistry and or Physics with strong post academic background demonstrating expertise in critical microscopy application areas
