Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionThe Manager Clinical Data Management Programming oversees the day-to-day operations for the team and the resources and workload of direct reports and tracks project timelines, budgets, and resource needs. The Manager Clinical Data Management Programming effectively ensures delivery across all project requirements, serves as a key contact for client interactions and provides technical leadership across departmental processes and projects. The role involves identifying and participating in the development of needed tools and process improvements to increase efficiencies within the project and the team.What You Will Do:• Manage staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approve courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Review and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime.• May perform and/or lead the design, building and testing project databases & edit checks.• May perform and/or lead the defining and importing of data into the system.• May perform and/or lead the defining, creating and testing of listings for data review and performing programming activities in line with project requirements.• Actively work to increase knowledge base and professional skills.• Contribute to the creation and validation of reporting tools / standard applications / enhanced processes, and works with IT in troubleshooting, reporting and resolving system issues.• Act as a representative of the department to other divisions.• Assist in bidding and business development activities, as required.• Participate in the development and implementation of processes, procedures and training for the group.Education & Experience Requirements:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 7+ years).• 2+ year of leadership responsibilityYears of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
