The position partners with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, and Contract Manufacturing teams to improve operational performance and ensure consistent manufacturing execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development and deployment of manufacturing process standards across the global Contract Manufacturing networkDrive Bill of Process (BOP) development, governance, documentation structure, and continuous improvement activitiesSupport technology transfer execution from development or incumbent manufacturing sites through commercial CM ramp-upConduct manufacturing readiness assessments covering process maturity, supplier capability, capacity, risk, documentation readiness, and operational controlsPartner with Contract Manufacturers to improve process capability, manufacturing efficiency, yield, cycle time, and operational performanceDevelop and standardize manufacturing documentation including process flows, work instructions, routings, control plans, standard work, and best practicesSupport process validation, qualification, pilot builds, and production ramp-up activities to ensure robust and repeatable manufacturing executionApply Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence methodologies to identify waste, reduce variation, and improve productivityLead root cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues impacting supplier execution or transfer readinessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support NPI, product transfers, supplier onboarding, and industrialization projectsEstablish and monitor manufacturing KPIs supporting industrialization readiness, transfer execution, and operational performanceCapture lessons learned and convert them into reusable standards, templates, and best practices for future deploymentsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical disciplineExperience supporting manufacturing process development, industrialization, technology transfer, or production ramp-up activitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working with Contract Manufacturers, OEMs, supplier manufacturing operations, or global production networksStrong understanding of manufacturing process development, production readiness, process validation, and operational controlsExperience developing process documentation, manufacturing standards, work instructions, process maps, and operational best practicesKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, PFMEA, control plans, and structured problem-solving methodsExperience performing manufacturing readiness assessments and supplier process capability evaluationsFamiliarity with regulated or high-technology manufacturing environments such as Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Medical Device, Semiconductor, Analytical Instruments, or Industrial TechnologiesExperience with ERP, PLM, MES, document management, or digital manufacturing systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured, data-driven approachAbility to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across global cross-functional teamsExcellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skillsKey CompetenciesManufacturing process ownership with focus on scalability and robustnessIndustrialization execution and technology transfer disciplineData-driven decision-making and structured problem-solvingContinuous improvement mindset with measurable operational impactCross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignmentStrong technical documentation and standardization capabilityQuality-focused execution and operational discipline

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical discipline (experience, 8 years)
  • Experience supporting manufacturing process development, industrialization, technology transfer, or production ramp-up activities (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Contract Manufacturers, OEMs, supplier manufacturing operations, or global production networks (experience)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing process development, production readiness, process validation, and operational controls (experience)
  • Experience developing process documentation, manufacturing standards, work instructions, process maps, and operational best practices (experience)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, PFMEA, control plans, and structured problem-solving methods (experience)
  • Experience performing manufacturing readiness assessments and supplier process capability evaluations (experience)
  • Familiarity with regulated or high-technology manufacturing environments such as Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Medical Device, Semiconductor, Analytical Instruments, or Industrial Technologies (experience)
  • Experience with ERP, PLM, MES, document management, or digital manufacturing systems (experience)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured, data-driven approach (experience)
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across global cross-functional teams (experience)
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills (experience)

Responsibilities
