Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning materials to perform duties. Reports all building deficiencies to the supervisor.A Day in the Life:Cleans all areas of the facility and grounds as indicated. Documents within GMP systems that all required tasks have been completed.Ensure all trash and cardboard boxes are collected and disposed of daily.Oversees stock on all janitorial supplies, informing purchasing department when needing to replenish. Maintain cleanliness and organization of utility room.Completes additional housekeeping duties, as needed to support special facilities projects.Keys to Success:EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Relevant formal academic / or vocational certificate highly preferred.ExperiencePrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesKnowledge of appropriate cleaning methods and proceduresAbility to read and follow directionsAbility to complete GMP documentationAbility to work independentlyAbility to learn, understand and follow OSHA regulationsPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThermo Fisher Scientific values the health and wellbeing of our employees.
