In this role, you'll represent our company, delivering exceptional technical service while building strong relationships with customers who are advancing critical research and innovation. You'll install, maintain, and repair a diverse range of high-value analytical instruments, from electron microscopes to chromatography systems. You'll combine technical expertise with customer service skills to solve complex problems and help our customers achieve breakthrough discoveries that make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree, no prior experience required. Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing sophisticated analytical instruments preferredPreferred Fields of Study: Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical) or related scientific fieldAdvanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plusStrong electronics and mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose issues down to component levelKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanorStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesFluency in English required; additional language skills welcomeDemonstrated problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinkingProficiency with Windows operating systems, MS Office, and service management softwareAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics and documentationValid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50-75%Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsExperience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment preferredAvailability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service callsMust be able to obtain necessary credentials to access customer facilitiesStrong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectivelyCollaborative mindset with ability to work independentlyCompensation and BenefitsThe hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $27.91–$41.86.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
