They provide hands-on technical support and work closely with customers to ensure equipment performance, efficiency, and a positive customer experience.LocationThis is a remote role based in Maryland/DC region and will require up to 75% travel within the designated territory. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out installation, preventative maintenance, repair support, and training of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry product in a professional, reliable, and customer-orientated mannerResponsibility for meeting customer SLA and internal KPI objectivesEnsuring customer satisfaction in all aspects of services providedShare experience and standard approach of product services and applications with colleagues. Contribute to knowledge base to allow continued improvement of work efficiency and effectivenessAssist the Commercial Team with technical information, training, and demonstrationsAccurately document field service activities, including installation report and service work report, and submit timely through the required systemKeys to SuccessEducationBachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, engineering, physics, or equivalent and 2+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing LC/MS instruments or Advanced degree with relevant experienceExperience, Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose issues down to component levelAbility to read and interpret technical documentation and schematicsExperience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment preferredExperience documenting service activities and preparing detailed reportsAbility to effectively train and support customers with equipment operationAdherence to safety protocols and quality standardsDemonstrated success in meeting customer satisfaction goalsExcellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational and time management capabilitiesStrong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and service management softwarePhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various laboratory environmentsOtherMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the futureMust be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screenCompensation and BenefitsThe hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $31.73–$42.31.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Responsibilities

  • Field Service Engineers play a key role in delivering field service support and managing customer relationships, handling installation, repairs, preventative maintenance, and instrument qualification.   • Carry out installation, preventative maintenance, repair support, and training of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry product in a professional, reliable, and customer-orientated manner
  • Responsibility for meeting customer SLA and internal KPI objectives
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction in all aspects of services provided
  • Share experience and standard approach of product services and applications with colleagues. Contribute to knowledge base to allow continued improvement of work efficiency and effectiveness
