This role ensures effective day-to-day cleaning operations oversight, drives quality and compliance through structured training and inspections, and serves as the key liaison between cleaning operations and the site's Contamination Manager. The supervisor maintains adherence to cGMP and EH&S requirements while partnering cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to support site contamination control improvement initiatives and operational excellence.What You'll Do:Oversee all facility cleaning operations to ensure tasks are completed to the required standards. Conduct regular visual inspections to verify quality, hygiene, and adherence to SOPs, ensure cleaning schedules are executed as planned, and follow up on all corrective actions to completion.Manage the onboarding of new employees in collaboration with the site's training/onboarding team, ensuring smooth integration into facility operations. Deliver structured training to all cleaning staff on site procedures, equipment use, and safety standards, maintain accurate training and compliance records, and ensure all employees are fully competent before working independently.Monitor and report on facility maintenance requirements, working in conjunction with the site's Engineering (ENG) team to coordinate all MEX requests and ensure fit and finish standards are maintained through timely repairs and upgrades.Collaborate closely with the site's Contamination Manager by actively participating in site contamination meetings, acting as the key liaison between the cleaning team and stakeholders, and ensuring all agreed action items are executed to improve cleaning schedules, processes, and overall efficiency.Manage the site's uniform programme to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, maintaining adequate supply to meet staffing requirements, coordinating transport and distribution of uniforms, and ensuring timely replacement of damaged items and right-sizing based on workforce needs.Coordinating and managing training activities for both new and existing cleaning staff.
