You will be responsible for calibration and repair of Industrial and other equipment in support of the ANZ customer base inclusive of all markets and products served with a primary focus on pressure, electrical and temperature calibrators.Working in our calibration lab, you'll partner with teams to deliver excellent customer service while supporting our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This position includes depot-based calibration work and opportunities for on-site customer support, combining technical expertise with customer interaction.What You'll Do:Calibrate, maintain and repair instruments in a professional and reliable mannerPerform all work according to company Quality Management System requirements, policies and NATA accreditation.Work under supervision of a NATA signatory (and other technical management where required)Meet minimum service turnaround for all customersAchieve service revenue budgetIdentify opportunities and provide technical assistance to support sales team sales and margin (gross) targets, growth and performance objectivesHighly responsive and proactive in addressing customers’ needsDevelop trusted customer relationships by providing resolutions for technical issues and service solutionsBe responsible for fostering partnership with the business Group’s customers by providing them with advice and technical support that will help them gain the most from the products that we sell themKeys to Success:EducationFormal tertiary qualifications or Bachelor’s degree with science or engineering major, or equivalent experience plus strong technical/scientific competence.ExperienceExperience working in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory or other quality regulated environment is desirable.Minimal 2 years' experience in a technical support roleExperience with scripting or programming is advantageousExposure to automated calibration systems or test software (e.g. MET/CAL, EIII, NI MAX or similar) is advantageousKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesA dedication and commitment towards displaying a professional and positive attitude.Knowledge of equipment within the portfolio and experience in the use of, calibration and repairs of electrical, pressure and / or temperature calibrators.An initiative taker who can work autonomously, and has an enthusiastic, energetic and positive attitude while being a supportive team playerStrong problem-solving skillsBuild and maintain meaningful and beneficial partnerships with our customers, suppliers and peersAbility to work professionally and harmoniously with a wide range of peopleStrong interpersonal, communication and listening skillsStrong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and meet agreed deadlinesPhysical Requirements / Work Environment Good manual dexterity and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift 16kgBenefitsJoin our team and take advantage of these great benefits!
