You will act as a trusted on-site partner to our customers while representing Thermo Fisher Scientific’s high standards of service and operational excellence.Your responsibilities will include inventory management, stockroom coordination, chemical handling, and laboratory support activities. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining strict adherence to GMP/GLP, safety, and quality standards.Through your attention to detail and proactive approach, you will directly contribute to enabling scientific progress by ensuring labs operate efficiently and reliably.Key ResponsibilitiesManage laboratory inventory, stockrooms, and consumablesProcess and track laboratory materials and chemical inventoriesMaintain accurate records using inventory management systems and handheld scannersEnsure compliance with GMP/GLP, safety, and quality standardsSupport day-to-day laboratory operations and customer requestsMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environmentCollaborate with internal teams and on-site customers to ensure service excellenceFollow all PPE and site safety requirementsRequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience in laboratory, warehouse, logistics, or customer service environmentsScience-related background preferredExperience in GMP/GLP environments is an advantageStrong proficiency with inventory systems and handheld scanning toolsGood Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong communication and customer service skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational abilityAbility to multitask and prioritise workload effectivelyComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPhysically able to lift/push/pull 30–40 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)Able to stand and walk for extended periodsWillingness to wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, steel-toe footwear)Flexible to work varying schedules as requiredValid driver’s license may be required for some assignmentsCommitment to confidentiality and adherence to company values

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team (experience)
