You will use your functional and technical knowledge of MES platforms and manufacturing processes to clarify requirements, support business process reengineering, manage site-level MES governance, and coordinate activities across the full MES lifecycle, from site readiness and implementation through go-live, hypercare, and steady-state support.You will also play a key role in the site's multi-year manufacturing systems transformation, supporting the transition from legacy MES platforms to PharmaSuite while ensuring business continuity and operational readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the main site-level IT coordination and governance contact for MES projects and support activitiesBuild strong working relationships with Operations, Quality, MSAT, Validation, Site IT, Global MES, Infrastructure, ERP, vendors, and implementation partnersCoordinate MES lifecycle activities including requirements, design, build, testing, training, go-live, hypercare, support handover, and steady-state operationsSupport and maintain the current MES platform, ensuring system availability, issue resolution, lifecycle management, and business continuity until transition to the target MES solutionTrack, prioritize, and escalate MES actions, issues, risks, dependencies, and readiness items, ensuring clear business impact, ownership, and timely follow-upCoordinate functional and technical discussions between site users, Global MES teams, and offshore development/configuration teamsSupport business process reengineering and alignment with the core MES template, global standards, and practical shopfloor needsCapture and translate site feedback, process gaps, user requirements, and local constraints into clear MES requirementsCoordinate site readiness for infrastructure, user access, shopfloor devices, printers, scanners, terminals, interfaces, and connectivitySupport testing, validation, and compliance activities by coordinating site inputs and action closure with Quality and Validation teamsCompliance & DocumentationEnsure MES documentation is complete and current, including processes, user roles, support models, SOPs, work instructions, user guides, and training materialsCoordinate CSV and compliance inputs with Quality and Validation teamsEnsure documentation is updated when MES processes, access, devices, interfaces, or support models changeMaintain clear records of key decisions, open actions, knowledge transfer, and support handoverContinuous ImprovementManage site-level MES governance across demand, changes, tickets, priorities, escalations, and improvement actionsCoordinate site support and ensure effective user support and issue resolutionWork with Operations, Quality, MSAT, Validation, Global MES, and support teams to prevent MES-related operational bottlenecksIdentify recurring issues, training needs, process gaps, and improvement opportunities to strengthen MES performance and supportabilityCoordinate MES changes, impact assessments, testing, documentation updates, training, and user adoptionREQUIREMENTSQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or related fieldExperience supporting MES implementations or Site IT projects in manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, shopfloor operations, and MES platformsStrong functional and technical understanding of MES applications, interfaces, user access, infrastructure, shopfloor devices, and support processesExperience in business process reengineering, requirements clarification, and translating site needs into MES requirementsUnderstanding of regulated manufacturing environments and CSV expectations is preferredKey ProficienciesExcellent stakeholder management, communication, coordination, follow-up, and issue-tracking skillsStrong ability to build effective relationships across site, global, and external teamsDeep knowledge of MES platforms; experience with Rockwell MES is preferred. Knowledge of Werum PAS-X, Siemens Opcenter, or other MES platforms is an advantageUnderstanding of MES integration with ERP, LIMS, automation systems, barcode systems, label printing, reporting platforms, and shopfloor devicesAbility to manage site-level MES governance, including priorities, issues, changes, risks, decisions, and support readinessAbility to translate business and site requirements into clear functional and technical inputs for development/configuration teamsPractical problem-solving approach focused on execution, user support, system reliability, and business continuityFluent in English; additional languages are beneficial.
