As a Procurement Specialist II - Catalog Management, you will play a critical role in enabling an efficient Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process by creating, maintaining, and optimizing internal and supplier punchout catalogs, as well as managing item master data. This role partners closely with Category Management, Sourcing, Suppliers, Master Data, Finance, and Business stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and user-friendly purchasing content that supports operational excellence and delivers an outstanding customer experience. Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, publish, maintain, and retire internal hosted catalogs and supplier punchout catalogs within the procurement platform.Create and maintain item master records, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.Review catalog requests, validate pricing, descriptions, UNSPSC classifications, units of measure, manufacturer information, and other required attributes.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to obtain catalog content, updates, pricing changes, and product lifecycle information.Perform catalog quality assurance, including validation, testing, and issue resolution prior to publication.Monitor catalog performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve searchability, usability, and user adoption.Maintain governance over item master data by ensuring consistency, eliminating duplicates, and supporting data standardization initiatives.Troubleshoot catalog and item master issues and partner with system administrators and IT teams to resolve defects.Support supplier onboarding activities related to catalog enablement and punchout integrations.Develop and maintain work instructions, and documentation for catalog and item master processes.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.Produce reports and metrics related to catalog accuracy, maintenance activities, data quality, and service levels.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement content management processes.REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.• 4+ years of experience in Procurement, Procurement Operations, Master Data Management, or Catalog Management.• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite• Excellence in supplier relationship management and contract negotiations• Experience with strategic sourcing, and supplier performance metrics• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Advanced English language proficiency required; additional languages beneficial• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience managing large volumes of master data• Ability to manage multiple priorities• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO) preferredWorking modeOffice or hybrid work environment depending on business needs.Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.Our MissionOur Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
