Through this collaborative approach, our professionals bring their commitment to excellence, industry knowledge, and operational strength directly into customer environments, helping to enhance capabilities and advance the delivery of life-changing therapies.Key responsibilities:The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience in tissue-based assays, immunofluorescence, and sample preparation for molecular profiling, along with a strong interest in emerging spatial biology technologies.Perform spatial biology workflows using FFPE and frozen tissue specimensPrepare tissue sections for downstream analysis, including:Deparaffinization (dewaxing)Antigen retrievalImmunofluorescence stainingSlide mountingPrepare, optimize, and validate antibody panelsEvaluate antibody staining quality, specificity, and reproducibilitySupport execution of multiplex imaging studies and assist with operation of imaging instrumentationPrepare tissue samples for spatial transcriptomics workflows, including slide preparation and sample quality assessmentAssist with optimization and execution of spatial transcriptomics sample preparationMaintain detailed records of staining conditions, antibody performance, sample preparation, and assay outcomesAssist in the development and optimization of new tissue-based assaysEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similarScientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’)OR Masters degreeIn some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Hands-on experience with immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, or related tissue-based assaysExperience handling FFPE and/or frozen tissue samplesFamiliarity with molecular biology techniquesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience maintaining laboratory documentation and experimental recordsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environmentStrong interest in spatial biology and emerging tissue profiling technologiesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to generating high-quality dataAbility to troubleshoot laboratory workflows and optimize experimental proceduresEnthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment focused on advancing preclinical researchStrong recordkeeping and compliance with SOPs and data integrity standardsStrong communication and collaboration skillsWorking Environment: Below is listed the working environment/requirements for this role:Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for typical working hours.Able to lift and move objects up to 25 poundsAble to work in non-traditional work environments.Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology withproficiency.May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements, including infectious agents, typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments.Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.BenefitsWe offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
