In this leadership role, you'll develop and implement effective business strategies to expand our market presence and deliver comprehensive scientific solutions to our customers. You'll coordinate with teams while building and maintaining senior-level relationships with key accounts to improve market share and drive success.Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll identify and develop new business opportunities, implement strategic plans, and ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives. You'll be responsible for tracking project pipelines, analyzing market trends, and providing valuable insights to senior management. This role offers the opportunity to promote Thermo Fisher's diverse portfolio of products and services while building long-term partnerships with industry leaders.Education Requirements:Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in business development or strategic sales with proven track record of achievementRequired Qualifications:Leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teamsDemonstrated success in consultative selling and strategic account managementExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong negotiation and relationship-building capabilitiesProficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical and financial acumen with ability to develop and execute strategic plansExperience working effectively in matrix organizations and cross-functional environmentsExperience in international business environments and working across cultures valuedProven ability to influence and coordinate activities across teams without direct reporting relationshipsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Industry knowledge of life sciences, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic markets preferredPreferred Fields of Study: Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related fieldAdditional relevant business education or certifications valuedWorking Conditions:Ability to travel up to 25% as requiredCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $118,100.00–$177,200.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
