The role covers a wide range of general repairs, HazardID actions, office maintenance tasks, and small improvement projects.This position replaces an external contractor to improve cost efficiency, accountability, and the overall standard of work delivered across the site.Key Responsibilities1. General Maintenance & RepairsCarry out routine building maintenance and minor repair works across site facilities.Perform basic multi-trade tasks (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical work where appropriate).Maintain office areas, welfare facilities, and general infrastructure.2. Hazard Identification & Safety ActionsSupport the close-out of HazardID and safety observations in a timely manner.Identify potential risks and proactively implement corrective measures.Ensure all work is carried out in line with site health & safety policies.3. Site Support & Improvement WorksComplete small improvement projects to enhance the working environment.Assist with office modifications, layout changes, and general upgrades.Support facilities-related requests from different departments.4. Planned & Reactive MaintenanceRespond quickly to reactive maintenance requirements across the site.Support planned preventative maintenance activities where required.Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.5. Tools, Equipment & HousekeepingMaintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised.Manage basic stock of maintenance materials and consumables.6.
