As a Systems Design Engineer II, you'll focus on testing, troubleshooting, and validating sophisticated clinical sequencing systems from integration through deployment. Collaborate extensively with software and engineering teams across the organization to ensure seamless system performance and customer success. Your work will involve rigorous testing protocols, identifying and resolving complex system issues, and partnering with cross-functional teams to bring reliable automated solutions to clinical laboratories. Make meaningful contributions to products that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.Requirements:Bachelor's plus 0 - 2 years of experience in systems engineering, product testing, or related technical role or Master's Degree in Engineering or Science fieldExpertise in system integration, testing, and validation of complex electro-mechanical systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with focus on troubleshooting and practical implementationExperience with Linux OS requiredKnowledge of sequencing technologies, laboratory automation, or clinical instrumentation beneficialExcellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilities in EnglishAbility to work independently and as part of global, multidisciplinary teamsHands-on troubleshooting and optimization capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple concurrent prioritiesProficiency in Python programming and data analysis preferredCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $69,000.00–$103,500.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
