This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core ResponsibilitiesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field.Software development experience in PHP or similar language (10+ years).Expert knowledge of object oriented programming.Expert knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL.Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Strong understanding of version control tools, such as Subversion or Git.Linux command line and server management experience is a plus.Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.Consultative skills in order to understand the technical needs of the client, the ability to determine any problems or unmet needs the client may face and an aptitude for solving complex problems.Ability to communicate professionally in written responses with extreme detail to customer requirements in support of solution development and delivery.Required Knowledge And ExperiencesSpecifically your duties will include the following:Guiding team members through design and implementationSolving client problems and interpreting customer requirementsTroubleshoot, test and maintain existing software applicationsProvide technical assistance and product education to clientsLiaise with other technical expertsContribute in all phases of the development lifecycleFollow industry best practicesThis role will serve as a technical resource that the organization can go to for implementation assistance around addressing client needs with current features and products, assessing/creating custom features and products, as well as develop and deploy proof-of-concept projects to meet specific client needs.TransUnion Overview:At TransUnion, we encourage and are committed to creating a real, positive impact and shared sense of purpose within our Workforce for Good, which empowers our people to grow, innovate and contribute to a better future for our communities and customers.
