In addition, our team provides fully managed Value-Added Services (VAS) solutions to multiple carriers.This role reports into the Director Product and Technology at RealNetworks, a TransUnion company and will form part of a small team of strong but very capable tech team based in Salzburg, Austria. Role Overview And Core ResponsibilitiesYou will install, configure, and maintain servers/VMs and Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.).You will use a configuration management and automation tool to manage servers, enforce system configurations, and automate repetitive tasks.You will monitor system performance and uptime.You will apply security patches and software updates.You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.You will manage backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity.You will support network infrastructure alongside the network administrators.You will support databases alongside DBAs.You will enforce security policies and compliance.You will be handling on-call duty every couple of weeks.Required Knowledge And ExperiencesEducational background in ITTrack record of experience as a Linux systems administratorExperience in Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu); virtualization (e.g. Xen); scripting; web servers and application servers (Apache, Tomcat, HA Proxy); storage systems (e.g. GlusterFS); configuration management and automation (e.g. Puppet)Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB incl. Galera Cluster, PostgreSQL)Good English communication skills, both written and spoken; strong team player mentality and excellent people skillsRequired Technical SkillsCloud (AWS – Amazon Web Services)DevOpsTerraformITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)Scrum or Kanban; technical project managementThe minimum salary for this position, according to the Austrian collective bargaining agreement, is EUR 3,954.00 per month for a full-time employment.
