The team values high-quality delivery, innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.Role Overview and Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop credit risk management and business intelligence analytical solutions through consulting engagements and research for TransUnion clients.Collaborate with internal and external partners to create predictive modeling and business intelligence solutions for credit lenders, insurance carriers, and other financial services organizations.Design and lead descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses using techniques such as segmentation, logistic regression, survival analysis, principal component analysis, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and machine learning.Translate analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations, and deliver compelling presentations to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.Plan analytical work, delegate tasks, manage project teams, and align stakeholders to achieve project deliverables on time.Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior analytical professionals in consumer lending, credit risk, and systematic problem solving.Partner with senior management to identify opportunities for innovation and present new analytical ideas and solutions on behalf of the team.Help foster an environment of excellence, innovation, customer service, and collegial collaboration.Required Knowledge And ExperiencesGraduate degree in a hard-science discipline with advanced coursework in statistics or a closely related field.At least three years of professional analytical modeling experience solving business-relevant problems.Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome obstacles and develop effective approaches.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate contributors with minimal supervision.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.Required Technical SkillsExpert proficiency in at least one statistical programming language, such as Python, R or SAS (Statistical Analysis System).Intermediate SQL (Structured Query Language) skills for data extraction.Experience manipulating large datasets using SAS, R, or another analytical software platform.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.Ability to evaluate data and summary statistics and independently perform analysis when needed.English Advance.Desired SkillsWe’re also looking for the preferred skills below.
