Responsible for staying abreast of industry and regulatory changes. Maintain accurate trade records, reporting, and monitoring to adhere to firm policies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Assist with the day-to-day operations by processing tasks within the department(s) and maintaining excellent service levels.Resolve trade issues and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet the demands of the business.Stay current with trade industry standards and new policies and procedures relative to the area of responsibility.Demonstrate initiative and commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the business.Process trade error corrections for the front office.Research and write off worthless securities if eligible.Daily/Monthly reconciliation of inventory and error accounts for P&L and the resolution of any differences.Monitor and resolve unallocated block trades.Daily monitoring of trade reporting. Ensure trades are reported properly, match, settle, and affirm according to industry rules and regulations.Research trade issues and liaison with the clearing firm as necessary.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
