Provides coordination, analysis, and reporting to support risk management, enhance visibility into issues and trends, and reinforce adherence to enterprise governance standards and business accountability.LOCATION: ** Truist in-office requirement is 5 days per week**Please note: candidate must be located in the following location:Charlotte, NCNo remote or telecommute optionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Risk Culture & Operational Integration1. Assess, document, and communicate risk and governance issues, while promoting business ownership of risk and adherence to governance expectations within Regulatory Reporting.2. Execute enterprise risk program requirements and governance activities across assigned business areas, while assessing, monitoring, and escalating operational and control concerns.Governance, Reporting & Leadership Support3. Analyze and interpret governance reporting, issue management, and remediation efforts, leveraging KRIs and operational risk data to develop insights and materials that support leadership decision-making.4. Track governance deliverables, action items, and escalations while maintaining documentation and reporting records to support operational risk management.Business Coordination & Operational Support5. Partner with stakeholders and governance teams to support operational risk activities, communications, and follow-ups.6. Prepare audit, regulatory, and enterprise review readiness, including operational readiness activities for business initiatives, governance requirements, and enterprise programs.Business-Specific Risk Support & Execution7. Consult with business stakeholders to implement enterprise governance standards and support operational risk activities.8. Execute governance and risk support work to meet business needs, including issue management, remediation monitoring, and control documentation.Required Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, Public Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience2. 4+ years of experience in operational risk management, governance, compliance, audit, controls, business operations, or related disciplines3. Understanding of operational risk management concepts, governance processes, issue management activities, and remediation practices4. Experience supporting governance reporting, operational monitoring, audits, examinations, or enterprise risk management activities5. Ability to identify, document, and communicate operational and governance concerns6. Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder support skills7. Experience supporting preparation of governance reporting, KRIs, metrics, and operational risk documentation8. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities9. Ability to manage competing priorities and support multiple governance initiatives simultaneously10.
