Working closely with operational teams, you will help ensure compliance with legal and company standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the delivery of a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace for all employees and contractors.WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BESupport the implementation and continuous improvement of site Safety, Health and Environment programmes and initiatives.Drive compliance with SHE legislation, internal standards, policies and procedures.Assist in identifying, assessing and mitigating SHE risks through inspections, audits, hazard studies and management of change processes.Support incident investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions to reduce future risk.Monitor SHE performance, analyse trends and contribute to the preparation of site SHE metrics and reporting.Coordinate and support internal and external SHE audits, regulatory inspections and gap closure activities.Deliver SHE training, inductions and awareness programmes to strengthen site capability and promote safe behaviours.Support emergency preparedness planning and emergency response activities across the site.Manage contractor SHE compliance, ensuring adherence to site requirements and standards.Drive awareness campaigns and engage employees to foster a proactive safety culture.Coordinate occupational hygiene and environmental monitoring activities in line with legal and company requirements.Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in SHE performance.Maintain SHE records, compliance documentation, action trackers and statutory information to support governance and reporting requirements.Provide administrative and procurement support for SHE-related activities, including the creation of purchase orders for external service providers.WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEExperiences & QualificationsDegree or Diploma in Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3 years' SHE experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment.Sound knowledge of SHE legislation, Legal Liability, HIRA, Occupational Safety Risk Assessments, and their implementation.Experience in incident and accident management, investigations, and corrective action implementation.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SHE systems such as BuildApp, SPR, EPR, and SHENET.SkillsIncident Investigation & Root Cause AnalysisSHE Auditing & ComplianceRisk Assessment & Hazard ManagementWorkplace Safety ManagementEnvironmental ComplianceEmergency Preparedness & ResponseSafety Performance MonitoringBehaviour-Based SafetyProblem Solving & Decision MakingStakeholder Engagement & CommunicationLeadershipYou are energized by delivering fantastic results.
