As a Gas Fitter Journeyman, you are responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting temporary heating solutions. You’ll be instrumental to the success of our branch by ensuring that we are providing high quality and safe equipment to our customers. Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll do:Install, troubleshoot, service and perform repairs on construction heaters & related heating equipment both in the shop and on customer job sitesPerform all work according to our Safety program at all timesDevelop apprentice Gasfitters if requiredWork as part of a team to achieve our corporate and branch goalsDrive to and from construction/client sites on a regular basis in a safe mannerOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:Must be an 'A' ticket GasfitterMechanically InclinedExperience working with propane is a plusStrong trouble shooting experience and a desire to solve complex problemsAdaptable to working independently as well as part of a cohesive teamValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordMust be comfortable working outdoors in any weatherSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
