Required Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred (degree)
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience (experience, 3 years)
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience (experience, 2 years)
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related (experience)
• Strong motivational and leadership skills (experience)
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills (experience)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) (experience)
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record (experience)

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items, determining root causes and opportunities for improvement and providing coaching and feedback to staff, making recommendations for corrective actions
• Support all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence, including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maximize operational effectiveness and efficiency by ensuring that staff is trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process; drive profitability by monitoring and controlling costs
• May be responsible for day-to-day operational activities including opening and closing, cash drawer reconciliation and bank deposit, and others
• Motivate, coach and train personnel
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication
• Other duties assigned as needed
