Progress starts with you.Job DescriptionThe Global Interchange and Pricing team at Visa is responsible for managing interchange and pricing with the objectives of leveraging economics to maximize Visa network participation and therefore drive revenue growth of Visa’s network.The Senior Analyst, US Acceptance Deals Strategy, will support workstreams focused on acceptance deal pricing and strategy. You will help develop economic frameworks and tools to support our business on our most strategic deals. The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities. Your work will be highly visible to leadership and will drive key insights for management discussions. The Senior Analyst will be based in either San Francisco, California, or Foster City, California.Essential Functions:Provide rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of identifying and vetting opportunities to maintain / expand Visa acceptance in the USDevelop deal constructs for acceptance agreements with merchants and payment service providersManage all aspects of deal lifecycle and deal management, including business case development, stakeholder impact assessments, internal management approvals, support for contract negotiations, and operations in post deal executionWork with cross-functional teams (product, finance, legal, sales, etc) to execute across deals and other strategic initiativesServe as pricing and interchange subject matter expert for workstreams with internal and external stakeholdersCommunicate and build support for recommendations among senior leaders across the organization.This position is a Hybrid role to be based in our San Francisco, CA office location. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.Preferred Qualifications:6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills requiredSuperior analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorAbility to handle multiple project workstreams, with proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problemsAbility to work independently, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to build rigorous, fact-bases that support recommendations to senior leadership and executive managementMust be a self-starter with proven abilities in organizational, conceptual, and logical problem solvingAbility to set priorities and manage stakeholder expectations internally and externally, and work both as part of a team and independentlyEagerness to work intensively in joint teams with colleagues of all levels to accomplish project objectives.Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)SQL experience is a plusInformation for US ApplicantsFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $129,200 to $206,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
