Harvey & Sons has an immediate position open for a Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Westborough, MA to work on our fleet of equipment.Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am to 4:30pm / Saturday's as neededPay Rate: $35.00 to $40.00 per hourAs a mechanic with us the minimum responsibilities are:Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of powertrain, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment, such as excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, man-lifts, etc. Perform power washing on heavy equipment during routine preventative maintenance.Travel to other local sites to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.Complete required paperwork utilizing equipment maintenance software program associated with repairing equipment, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.Reviews and completes, repairs identified on Daily Inspection Reports.Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns that may take place in the transfer station.Assist as needed in preventive maintenance of buildings, bailers, conveyors and support equipment including manlifts, compressors and yard trucks.
