Waste Connections is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join the team at JED Landfill in Saint Cloud, Florida. Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge plus.Monday – Friday 9am –8pm and every other Saturday 5:00am – 4:00pm$22.00+plus an hour DOEDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as neededPerform general labor duties around LandfillAssist with landscaping dutiesWill walk on slopes and pick up paperWork in all weather conditionsWill be trained to operate HE equip. and to drive a semi tanker.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:Work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
