We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious Equipment Operators to join the team at RIP Landfill in Homosassa, FL. Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge plus, but willing to train the right candidate.The position is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week. Pay Range for this position is $24-$26+ DOE. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as neededSpreading and compacting trash using a CompactorSpreading daily cover using a DozerExcavating soil using an ExcavatorHauling soilWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:The work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
