This role will provide technical leadership for critical back-office systems, drive strategic platform enhancements, and partner closely with Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.In this role, you will:Lead development and support of the Calypso Back Office platform, supporting settlements, accounting, reconciliations, and post-trade processingDesign, develop, test, and implement Calypso enhancements, interfaces, workflows, and integrationsEnsure platform stability, operational efficiency, and compliance with risk, regulatory, and audit requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to trade processing, settlements, accounting, and system integrationsDrive process improvements, automation, and optimization of back-office operations and controlsPartner with Operations, Finance, Production Support, and Platform Engineering teams to deliver strategic initiatives and maintain platform reliabilityProvide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and lead project delivery across cross-functional teamsCollaborate with stakeholders and influence technical direction for the Calypso Back Office ecosystemRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies5+ years of experience designing and supporting integrations between vendor platform and upstream/downstream systems using APIs, messaging, and batch interfaces.5+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues in a high-availability environment5+ years of experience of SDLC, application architecture, testing, release management, and production support processes5+ years of experience leading complex technology initiatives and mentoring software engineersDesired Qualifications:10+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience8+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies3+ years of experience supporting or developing solutions on the Calypso platform, preferably within Back Office modulesStrong knowledge of capital markets operations, including settlements, accounting, payments, reconciliations, and post-trade processingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner across Technology, Operations, and Business teamsExpectations:Willingness to work onsite - this position offers a hybrid work schedule This position is not eligible for visa sponsorshipRelocation assistance is not available for this positionLocations:300 S Brevard St., Charlotte, NC 282021755 Grant St., Concord, CA 94520Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
