As this growth accelerates, so does the need to support our businesses and partners. The Senior CIB Lending Operations Middle Office Specialist will work to support complex deals, partner directly with the internal and external clients, and work to identify ways to enhance the client and processing experience.In this role, you will:Serve as a critical intermediary between the front office and back office during the lending origination and trading processLead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the functional area within Corporate & Investment Banking Lending Operations in middle office functionExecute moderately complex credit structures and non‑standard transactionsConsult with deal teams on credit execution requirements; supporting audits and regulatory inquiries, developing and updating procedures and job aids, guiding junior team members and providing informal mentorshipContribute to large‑scale planning for functional deliverablesAnalyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges requiring in‑depth evaluationIndependently resolve moderately complex issues and lead projects, teams, or processes to meet deliverablesLeverage solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid‑level managersServe as a mentor to less experienced staff, as neededRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Corporate or Commercial Banking credit/loan operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or educationDesired Qualifications:2+ years of experience working with Loan IQ and nCino3 + years of experience reading, interpreting, translating, and applying lending knowledge for Loan AgreementsExperience with wire transfers and money movementAbility to influence, gain buy-in, and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior managementAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentExperience communicating complex concepts effectively, in both written and verbal formatsExperience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areasAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentPrimary Posting Location:550 S Tryon St, Charlotte, North Carolina 28202Additional Posting Location: 7711 Plantation Rd, Roanoke, Virgina 24019-3224 Job Expectations: Ability to work on-site at posted location in compliance with our hybrid schedule.This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
